What is Supported Living?
Supported living is a model of care that enables adults with support needs to live in their own home or shared accommodation while receiving the help they need. Unlike residential care where you live in a care home, supported living means you have your own tenancy and control over your own life.
You choose where you live, who you live with, how your home looks and how you spend your time. Support workers help with the things you need assistance with, whether that is personal care, managing your home, developing skills, accessing your community or simply having someone there when you need them.
At Arthur Morrison Care Services, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live as independently as possible. Our supported living service is designed around you, your goals, your preferences and your aspirations. We work alongside you to build independence, not dependence.
Key Principles
You hold your own tenancy or licence
You have control over your daily life and decisions
Support is tailored to your individual needs
Focus on building skills and independence
Your home, your rules, your life

Who Benefits from Supported Living?
Our supported living service supports adults with a range of needs who want to live independently with the right level of support.

We support people with mild to moderate learning disabilities to live in their own homes, develop daily living skills and participate fully in their communities. Support ranges from a few hours weekly to more intensive packages.
Adults with Mental Health Conditions
For those living with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, we provide stable, consistent support that helps maintain wellbeing, medication routines and community connections.
Adults with Physical Disabilities
We support people with physical disabilities to live independently, assisting with personal care, mobility, household tasks and accessing the community while respecting autonomy and choice.
Adults with Autism
Our autism-aware support workers understand sensory needs, communication preferences and the importance of routine, providing consistent, adapted support.
